Create a new user on your computer

To create a new account you must first be logged in as a system administrator.
Click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> User Accounts
Follow the instructions guided by the system.

 


The main user has administrator rights, he can do everything: create or delete files, install programs, create other users, etc.

The rest of the users may have administrator rights or limited rights, according to your needs, for example without the possibility of installing executable programs.

Create a new user without rights and use it in daily activities, this way you have already limited much of the risk of being attacked by hackers.

Warning: If you set an access password, do not forget it! Otherwise you will be forced to login again as an administrator to reactivate the user profile.
Forgotten passwords are never recoverable, when you reactivate a user the password is automatically deleted and you have to assign a new password.
